Hypnotisme (2012) c’est d’abord un fanzine collectif imprimé à la photocopieuse à l’initiative de Marine Penhouët, artiste pluridisciplinaire. Ce projet est inspiré du travail de Cary Loren pendant la période Destroy all monsters (US). Alternatif et indépendant il agit comme une plateforme hybride qui permet la rencontre et la promotion d’artistes émergents et confirmés. Le projet est dédié aux nouvelles expériences narratives avec un protocole du ici et maintenant. Aujourd’hui HypnotismeZine développe sa ligne éditoriale comme projet et expérience autour de l’impression DIY. Pour les 10 ans la dernière sortie est un fanzine consacré à l'artiste Cary Loren. Tiré à 50 exemplaires numérotés, il est nommé “Vaisseau Fantôme” comme le nom éponyme de l'exposition qui a pris place dans la galerie du Sterput en septembre 2022 à Bruxelles.
Hypnotisme was born (2012) like a collective paper fanzine, made in the interwork of the artiste Marine Penhouët,
and inspired by the work of Cary Loren in the collective Destroy all Monsters (Detroit). Alternative and independent it's an hybrid platform dedicated to the new way of Storytelling. The protocol was and still is right here right now. The micropress HypnotismeZine develops its editorial line as an independent and experimental project about D.I.Y printing practices. After 10 years of experiment, the latest release is a fanzine dedicated to the artist Cary Loren. With only 50 numbered copies, and named “Vaisseau Fantôme” after the eponymous exhibition that took place in the Sterput gallery in September 2022 in Brussels.
